Australia’s Standard Communications Pty Ltd the manufacturer of Kingray MATV and SMATV equipment is delighted to announce the signing of a European distribution contract with the UK’s Antiference Ltd. Under the terms of the agreement, the new Kingray Professional headend range will be marketed in the UK and Western Europe under the Antiference by Kingray banner.
Antiference has served the UK television industry for almost 75 years, virtually since the first BBC transmissions began from Alexandra Palace in England during the mid 1930’s.

Under the cooperation agreement both parties will also contribute to future product definition and development, including the exploration of emerging technologies to cover the delivery of both Free to Air and Subscription television services.

Antiference by Kingray MATV equipment will be available throughout the UK and Ireland from September 2011.
